Itinerant Cross Urban
“Itinerant Cross Urban” is a truly interesting project based on photography and a video installation, which was born in 2008 from the collaboration of two Colombian artists, Klaus Fruchtnis and Cynthia Lawson Jaramillo .
The project consists in picking up a word per week which is sent to the participant artists, who produce a series of images in response, independently from their location on the map or time zone. At the moment 100 pairs exist, taken in 63 cities around the world, which are about to give birth to the multi-city traveling exhibition called “Itinerant Cross Urban”. Paris is the city where the exhibition will be held for the first time, before traveling worldwide for the next 12 months. Cities like London, Tokyo, New York, Madrid and Bogota at a final stage will be part of the itinerary.
